HDPE Deck Boards In Three Lengths

Buy a deck board that will last a lifetime! Each 1 in x 6 in board is made entirely from HDPE, a type of plastic. Plastic lumber is the perfect choice for any deck because of its durable nature. It won’t absorb any moisture, even in the most humid of environments, ensuring that it will never rot. It isn’t a food source for insects and so won’t be weakened by termites, carpenter bees, or ants.

Build A Low-Maintenance Deck

A deck should be a place of relaxation, not stress. Wood decks require expensive ongoing maintenance to slow the progression of decay. The same cannot be said of plastic boards.

All that is needed to maintain plastic boards is the occasional wash when the boards get dirty. This can be accomplished with a power washer on a low setting or with a brush broom and water.

Will Plastic Lumber Need To Be Painted?

When plastic lumber is made pigments are included throughout the entire width of the board. Additives that provide UV protection are also included, to help prevent fading. The chosen color will last for decades to come.

We don’t recommend attempting to paint plastic boards because paint and stain will not absorb into the boards. Any paint applied will peel.
