Directions
This calculator allows you to gauge the effects of expansion and contraction on the various HDPE grades. First choose a grade from the drop down, then the initial length of the board. Finally, populate the starting temperature (in Fahrenheit) and ending temperature (in Fahrenheit) before clicking the calculate button. Two values will then appear to the right – One will be the variance caused by the temperature change, and the other will be the total length of the board adding in the variance.
