The dock is located on Merrymeeting Lake in New Durham, NH. I built it myself.  The three floating sections are made 100% from your recycled plastic lumber and 2 plastic float drums per float. The permanent section, supported by metal girders was covered  with pressure treated lumber that was not in too  bad a shape, however it was only 28" wide. I cut your t&g decking to 48" lengths and laid it down right on top of the old pressure treated decking.

This makes the dock wider, to match the three 4'x8' floats, and since it is only overlapping 5" on each side,  it is very strongly supported. That section is about 42' long. I'm not completely done with it yet, as I plan on adding railings to both sides of it, but I figured I'd send you pictures while I had access to my brother's digital camera.
